First Rheumatic Heart Disease Screening in Micronesia
During the month of March 2016, MAHI International and its partners conducted the first school screening for rheumatic heart disease. We invited and sponsored expert sonographer Roger Moore to work alongside Dr. Payne Perman to identify unknown RHD cases in the local schools. Roger's wife Katharina assisted her husband in this outreach.
