Under the guidance of Jay Ignacio, D.D.S., 6 volunteers from California served nearly 250 dental patients on the island of Pohnpei & its outer island Pakein, located approximately 32 miles from Pohnpei.  Dr. Jay & his assistants conducted many extractions and he talked to elementary school students about what happens when you don't take care of your teeth.  Toothbrushes were passed out & the volunteers taught the island communities about oral health care.
